Why pinless is a great option for your card
What is PINless dialing?It is a way of quick connectivity. Each phone card is assigned a distinct number called the Personal Identification Number. Whenever a long distance call is to be made, the caller has to first of all dial his PIN number followed by the country code, area code and telephone number in the other country. To make a long distance call, normally, a person has to dial more than 18 digits so as to get connected to the other person. Memorizing all these numbers will be difficult. It will be more difficult if the person is a frequent caller.
To address this problem, calling companies have introduced a mechanism called the PINless dialing. In this system, the caller need not dial the PIN number of the card. The calling company assigns a number called an ̣€˜access number". All that the caller has to do is to identify a particular telephone number; it could be the telephone in his office, house or even his mobile phone. ̉ All long distance calls will have to be made through that particular identified telephone ̣€“ although for most phone cards, more than one number can be registered for pinless dialing.
Now, it is sufficient if the caller dials the access number. By a mechanism called the Automatic Number Identification (ANI), the calling company identifies the caller and he is immediately connected to the toll free calling zone. Now, he would dial the country code, area code and the required telephone number. Even here, the caller has to dial as much as 14 to 16 numbers. Dialing so many numbers is time consuming and there are chances of wrong dialing.
To make things easy, calling companies have given an option wherein the caller can register the frequently called numbers with the helpline of the calling company.̉ So, whenever calls are to be made, the caller will just dial his access number. Soon, the helpline will navigate him to the list of frequently called numbers. The caller will select the required number and then just press the dial button. With that he is instantly connected to the required number.
Advantage of PIN less dialing:
It is easy to operate. It is enough if the caller dials the access number. The helpline will connect him to the identified number. There are no chances of wrong dialing. The caller gets connected almost instantaneously so saves time in dialing. There is no need to memorize the numbers or refer the phone book. Normally, PIN less dialing facility is provided without any extra cost. So, the caller will enjoy this benefit free of cost, together with enjoying low rates on their international calling card.
