Comparatively, if another carrier focused on an entire state, but that state is one that only has small towns and mid-sized cities, then they will have a larger geographical coverage, but fewer people will be accessing the network.
However, with the measurements used by the cellular phone carrier companies, they would say that the first carrierò€™s network was much larger than the second one ò€“ even though itò€™s geographical size is dramatically smaller. The ratio theyò€™re counting on (person-to-geographical space assumption) doesnò€™t balance out.
