The Motorola RAZR V9 is about 2 mm slimmer than the original RAZR model despite being loaded with so many tools and applications. The glamorous clamshell is quite well built with stainless steel casing around an internal chassis to make the handset tough and strong. A protective cover safeguards its external screen. The 2.0 inch screen with touchscreen and haptic feedback is probably the best external screen used in any clamshell handset till date. Other than voice network coverage across all corners of the globe, the handset supports UMTS (3G) networks for high speed data connectivity needed for data intensive functions like video calling, multi player game playing or swift downloading. In absence of 3G network, one can fall back to "traditional" ways of mobile internet connectivity ò€“ GPRS and EDGE. The handset also boasts of a 2.0 megapixel camera and a multi format compatible media player with external touchscreen media control keys.
