In terms of performance, the N82 can hold its ground. Sound quality is very good, with the audio very clear and crisp. Background sound is minimized. It is generally more responsive than other mobile phones in the N-series. With the fast HSDPA and Edge features, downloading time is efficiently faster. Nokia N82 has a navigational capability and can get the users a GPS fix wherever they are. Nokia maps that are already installed can be easily accessed and the user can log on to the net to download maps.Equipped with an HTML web browser and WiFi-ready, surfing the net is a breeze and with its email options which includes STMP, IMAP4 and POP3. Sound is superb and the digital player supports MP3, AAC, eAAC, AAC+, WMA and M4A. The user can even choose to create playlist and sorting them according to songs, artist or albums. The N82 is a quad-band mobile phone and has all the usual perks like speakerphone, conference calling and has a voice command feature. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and USB 2.0 and it has an internal memory of 100 MB with an expandable memory option of up to 8 GB through a MicroSD slot. The Nokia N82 package contains a lithium battery with 4.3 hours talk time and standby time of up 9.4 hours, Nokia Music Headset (Bluetooth compatible) and a 2 GB MicroSD card.
